How Do We Determine Your Property Value?

Mortgage, Property value

Updated this week

Every month we check the price trends in your local area and assess the value of your home based on these developments.

The value is estimated using a number of different criteria, taking into account factors such as:

  • Prices of sold homes in your area

  • Turnover rate

  • Size of the property

  • Year of construction, etc.

This means that the valuation shown in the app is based on an approved value and will vary according to the general price changes in your local housing market. The property value may also vary if renovations or major changes have been made, as we do not have access to this information.

Update property value
If you have received an e-valuation and wish to update your property value, you must submit the e-valuation reference so we can update it. You can do this in the app by going to Home → Property value → Update property value.

If you submit the e-valuation after the 15th of the month, the value will first be updated 40 days later. If you submit it earlier, the value will be adjusted at the next valuation (within 15–20 days).

You may, at any time during your customer relationship, send us an updated e-valuation. If the e-valuation is approved by Bulder, it will be taken into account when determining the new property value. However, this does not guarantee that the property value will be the same as the amount stated in the e-valuation.

Is my e-Takst valid?
The e-valutaion should not be older than 6 months and must be approved by Bulder.(The value in the e-takst will be weight less the older it is.)

Where can i find the referance number?
You can find the referance number in the PDF document you recieved from the real estate agent
