Why do I need to activate this?
Before you can make an international payment, you need to activate this function. After activation, there will be a 24-hour countdown before you can access our international payment solution. We do this to prevent fraud and protect you as a user. This gives you extra time to contact us and stop the payment if needed, allowing us to resolve the issue before anything goes wrong.
What do I need to make an international payment?
IBAN stands for International Bank Account Number, a global standard for identifying bank accounts across borders. It is often used for international money transfers.
At Bulder, we only accept IBAN's from countries within the SEPA (Single Euro Payments Area) agreement. This is a payment solution for transactions within the EU. Although you can choose the currency in the payment solution, we recommend selecting the local currency of the country you're transferring to, if possible. This is typically the cheapest option for you.
The following details are required for making an international payment:
Full name of the recipient
Full residential address of the recipient (PO box addresses are not accepted)
Recipient's IBAN number or account number
Amount and type of currency the payment will be sent in
To protect yourself and us, you must specify the purpose of the payment.
