From 2. May the terms for children and youth accounts has been changed. You may choose between Brukskonto Ung and Sparekonto Ung when creating new accounts. Until further notice, already existing accounts will remain with the same terms.

Who Can Open a Children’s Account?
Both parents must be Bulder customers to open a children’s account.
Single parents or foster parents currently cannot open a children’s account.
If the parents are divorced, both must be Bulder customers to proceed.

How Can I View My Child’s Account?
Parents can see the child’s account in the Bulder app, including transaction history for card payments and transfers.
How Does My Child Access Their Account?
Children has to use the app from Sparebanken Norge to view their account.
To access mobile banking, the child needs their own online banking account.
If the child doesn’t have one, you can order it via My Family in the online banking portal.
Both parents must approve the request, which includes receiving an SMS link to a signing portal.
How to Open Accounts, Order Cards, and Other Banking Services
Go to My Bulder in the app.
Select Children and Youth Accounts and follow the steps to add your child and request a card and account.
Both parents must be Bulder or Sparebanken Norge customers and sign the setup request.
Note: It may take up to 48 hours for the account to appear in the app.
If you already have a child or youth account in Sparebanken Norge, it will appear after selecting “Go to Sparebanken Norge.”
Can My Child Use Vipps?
Yes, children under 15 years old can use Vipps with parental approval if:
Both parents are verified in Vipps with BankID or Mobile BankID.
The child has a Norwegian bank account in their name.
The child has a Norwegian mobile number.
Apple and Google Pay
Youth cards are compatible with Apple Pay and Google Pay.
Interest on Children’s Accounts
Effective annual interest rate: 4.15%, paid annually.

A 200 NOK gift will be deposited into the account within 48 hours of activation.
Want to Hide Children’s Accounts in the Bulder App?
Go to the Home page in the app.
Scroll to the bottom, select Edit, and tap the minus sign next to the accounts you want to hide.
