What is “tapping,” really?
Tapping simply means paying contactless — with your card or your phone. As a Bulder customer, you’ve been able to tap with Apple Pay and Google Pay for a long time. Now you can also tap with Vipps, letting you pay in stores by holding your phone next to the payment terminal — quick and effortless.
Vipps tapping used to only work with BankAxept in Norway. It now supports Visa globally, so you can use it all over the world. Remember to update the Vipps app.

It takes just a few seconds:
Open Vipps
Tap “Activate now” at the top
Follow the steps
You’re now ready to tap with Vipps.
How do you Tap to Pay with Vipps?
To Tap to Pay without opening Vipps, you need to set Vipps as your default payment app in your phone settings. You can do this easily in Vipps:
Tap ‘Me’ and then ‘Enable lightning-fast Tap to Pay’.
Follow the steps.
Now you can Tap to Pay lightning-fast! 😎
When you’re ready to Tap to Pay:
iPhone: Double-click the side button. Hold your phone near the terminal. Tap to Pay!
Android: Unlock your phone. Hold it near the terminal. Tap to Pay!
