BankID

Updated over 3 weeks ago

Here are the differences between the various login methods:

  1. Login with BankID:

    • Uses a one-time code from the code token and a personal password (BankID password) for login.

    • You order BankID yourself in the online bank.

    • You can also use the BankID app, which eliminates the need for the one-time code from the code token.

  2. Login with BankID app:

    • Select BankID as the method and then choose the BankID app.

    • You approve a notification on your phone and enter your BankID password to log in.

  3. Login with BankID on mobile:

    • You enter your phone number and date of birth.

    • You receive a dialog on your mobile phone, where you must confirm a reference code (two words) and enter your self-chosen PIN code (ID-PIN).

    • You activate BankID on mobile in the online bank.

  4. Login without BankID:

    • Uses a net banking password and a one-time code from the code token for login.

    • This method can only be used for logging into your online bank.
